Hi all, with my cctv system, I get a notification on my iphone if there's activity between certain times (night time) however, these are surpressed by the 'Do not disturb' feature on my iphone.

Does anyone know how to 'allow' notifications from a particular app? I know I can override the calling and text message muting by adding them to a favourite, but not for an app?

Any ideas or workarounds?

Instead of using Do not Disturb, use screen time, set a down time and then set the app as an exception.

You can block calls in a similar way to Do not Disturb as well.

Good thinking. However doesn’t ‘phone’ always work in Screen time? Not that I get many calls at 3am but still.

You might be able to bypass DND with a “Shortcut”.

Don’t ask me how though, I’m an Apple n00b.

ETA - I underestimated myself!

Just an example.

You can set it to only allow communication with specific contacts during downtime.
