Hi
Any pointers on what could be wrong i have a 2ltr fiat twin cam running a DTA ecu twin 40 jenvey throttle bodies
Problem when drops to tick over adjust to 800 revs then after a min or two tickover goes up and up on its own to 2000/2300 revs this is when up to temp
New plugs coil leads injectors checked fuel pressure ok Air into throttle bodies is even crankshaft sensor timing correct

Sounds like an air leak. Is the brake servo working alright? Try disconnecting it and blocking the vacuum pipe.

Smoke test the intake manifold?

Do you have a vacuum ignition advance? Try blocking that off just to see whether that's provoking it. Have you checked the mixture? If it's missing cold enrichment it may have an artificially low cold idle and then pick up when the mixture comes right for the temperature.

Easy Start. Squirt it around the manifold and see if the revs rise. Plus it smells ace.
