NCB Autokraft are still around so Noel may remember the car - not in B'ham now but in Earlswood Solihull .

So from looking, S991a is just a "special build" code.

It could be anything from being built with a "new" option to being specced as an AC car or something.

What does it come up as if you plug the vin into the BMW store page?

Hi! Sorry, as a new user I couldn't reply after 9pm haha

I'd love to post some pictures but its a bit hard without a photo bucket account, unless you know an easy way?

Thankyou! Yeah this was the main reason my Dad bought the car, Noel has always looked after my dads BMWs, so when he saw the 760i had been looked after by him, he felt confident buying it. My Dads continued to have it looked after by Noel!

Thankyou for that! Well, when I put the vin in the decoder websites, some of them give me a build spec, but some of them (including the BMW store page) say invalid VIN, which is a little concerning!

The vin number is WBAGL82080DD17020 if you want to take a look at the spec yourselves, please tell me if its dangerous posting the VIN number though so I cam remove it haha

Hi,

Just to follow up with this, having spoken to my dad he tells me it was originally the MD of BMWs personal car.

Would this explain it?
