As anyone on the sub-£200 watch thread knows, AliExpress can be a goldmine of excellentvalue ites. However, it doesn't take long to realise that an awful lot of what's on sale is less appealing. Why oh why would anyone want to buy this?

Anyone else found anything else ghastly?

Most of my recommends are watches, fishing stuff and writing kit but occasionally there's something a bit weird. I usually then look around the "store" and the above are examples of the oddities found.

That's awful - delivery by 25th January? Can't even get it in time to gift for Christmas.

That's why they're so cheep cheep. Delivery by boat that stops at every port in the universe.

While I can just about understand the infuser as a prank gift or similar (not that I’d want one). Why would anyone pay nearly a grand for a lamp in the shape of a stting dog?!

Gold toilet needs no explanation - I want one myself!

I know different strokes for different folks and all that but who would want one? Maybe someone that has a poop-bag business? The commercial viability can’t be there. Surely?!

hehe

What makes it worse is that it appears that the turd appears to be the switch, so you have to tread on it to turn the lamp on.

Looking through the pics they do a matching table lamp too rofl

The turd switch is what make it so brilliant.
