Afternoon all,
Still on the hunt for the next motor...( it’s taking ages but enjoying taking my time for a change!)
Anyone know this one at Leeds? Seems to have hung around for a while and I can’t see why? Is it colour? Lack of other spec apart from carbon? Genuinely interested to get thoughts as I keep looking at it and thinking might be a reasonable purchase in terms of a balance of enjoyment and reasonable depreciation?

They've dropped the price by about £8k too, so bargaining may be an issue.

Is there a resource that tracks the used prices of individual cars? Or have you just watched the price fall and have a better memory than me??

I was at one point interested but no longer, so have noted the price drop myself. But has been for sale some time which I find surprising as it looks lovely.

Personally I think that's one of the very best colours.
I'd prefer a manual but not bothered about the rest of the spec.
Don't have the spare cash for it at the moment otherwise it would be tempting.

That looks a good deal to me.

I’d prefer the lightweight seats myself but I think they are rarer in the Roadster and they are personal preference anyway.

If you like the colour and are happy with the rest of the spec I think that car represents good value.

mine is the cobalt blue, I really think they look better in different colours than silver & black...

From a NE Aston owners run out earlier in the year.

Strange! I also noticed this one dropped in price too. I'm not looking for a drop top model, but it struck me as being the same issue discussed here:
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

That one was a red one too and had to drop in price. Still just mildly kicking myself I didn't go for that one as it had the lightweight carbon seats. But it wasn't the right time for me.

This one looks to be a better price now. Go for it! biggrin

Yours is a lovely colour and even better in the metal.

I have seen this car and was also interested, price has been reduced, then has just been put back up! was previously below current asking price. Seems a nice car, my reasons for not pursuing was it lacked some of the must have's in spec for me (Premium Audio) and to be honest the colour wasn't to my other half's tastes, though we are all different. I also found the dealership difficult to deal with, poor communication which put me off!

Err, are you sure about the Audio? Pretty sure Premium Audio was std spec on all V12VS models onwards, with only B&O as an option.

Are you talking about during lockdown re poor comms? Leeds are excellent at communicating normally, but in fairness during lockdown it was hard as all the sales team were furloughed, leaving another role covering several areas including sales.

Low prices in the UK. You wouldn’t find a V12VS Roadster at this sort of price in Europe.
Not many for sale and much more expensive.
I do like Volcano, I think it looks great.
I can’t understand why it hasn’t yet been sold.

Premium was not standard on the V12VSR. Coincidentally I was looking at the spec on my car to get an agreed value on my car and saw that I paid £700 for premium sound. Great colour IMO but lacks lightweights and carbon interior. It was my one regret about the spec I did for my V12VR that I did not go for lightweights because it really makes the car.

That PB interior will take an awful lot of looking after with an open top car and look pretty dreadful - check carefully for what it looks like if you proceed.

Premium Audio a cost option when new, then even more the B&O system. Communications have been pre and post lockdown. Had similar poor communication with Works Service. AM Newcastle,Bristol and Cheltenham have been good. My search is quite specific for the right car, which is limited in current sales pool.

My issue was the lack of premium sound also, and the piano black, as mentioned was a PITA in the last vantage, and also in the current daily.

Not too bothered by the HiFi, seats or PB interior so deal done hopefully!

Never had a V12 so looking forward to it.
