Could be a potential replacement for the E-Tron when my current lease expires in December 2021.

Bjorn spotted a lightly disguised one out in the wild whilst charging in Norway.

A bit more boot space but certainly no SUV replacement from a practicality standpoint I wouldn't have thought?

I'm not sure that is really the case - I think SUVs actually offer pretty poor internal space for their bulk and looks.A quick search suggest that you get more boot space in a Golf estate (600L) than a T-Roc (445). A Golf hatchback is 380. I think for practicality estates win over SUVs, though I guess it is debatable how this Turismo style compares.

The Taycan ST is still very low for ingress/egress and unlikely to offer the level of headroom/legroom found in a reasonably sized SUV like the E-Tron let alone the boot space.

Tiguan is based on the Passat platform whereas the T-Roc shares the Golf platform, hence the comparison.
Actually I stand corrected as now they all use the MQB platform. Still I think in terms of road space and market segment T-Roc to Golf and Tiguan to Passat are more valid comparison points.Gassing Station | EV and Alternative Fuels | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
