Selling an item on the tree, Indian gentleman over friendly not brilliant English , pays me in full through PayPal incl postage for a U.K. address. I’m struggling to see the scam but I’ve convinced myself there is one?

He will make a claim the item didn't arrive and charge back via Paypal, you lose the item and the money

You could send it by tracked delivery. Or refund it and ask for bank transfer instead?

How do I refund a PayPal? Does he have to accept or do I just send the amount back to him.

Done. Refunded. Checked the guy out he has 13 dissolved directorships. Alarm bells ringing, easier than working for a living I guess and absolutely no chance of being prosecuted.
