Rolled lamb breast
Discussion
Rolled breast of lamb and I instantly think of Simon Hopkinson’s recipes.
His cookbook “Roast chicken and other stories” is a classic.
This one was the first I found:

One of our favourite meals - unroll it, cover in garlic powder and chinese five spice and then roast on a wire rack in the oven on 150ish for 3-4hrs until it's gone crispy, cut that into strips and have with egg-fried-rice or wrap in lettuce leaves, just as good as any chinese takeaway

This was the last time I used lamb breast. Basically rolled up with lots of spices, nuts and fruit then braised with a tagine type sauce. Was okay but not worth the time and effort or cost which is what I was looking to reduce for school lunches.

That looks f
k all like school dinner in my day
