Hi, I was thinking about getting my son the logitech steering wheel for Christmas along with a seat to attach it to.Any advice on the seat would be much appreciated as he is 6' 2" so didn't want to get one that he wouldn't fit in ! Have looked on Curries and there seems to be a couple of options. Playseat Evo, Playseat Challenge , or ADX. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Have also just seen this at Argos, may be a better option and only 58 quid - X Rocker XR Racing Rig Universal Steering Wheel Pedal Mount.

I have the Playseat challenge and rate it highly. Can leave the wheel and cable attached, fold it up and put away under the stairs. Only thing missing is a mount for the gear shift lever. Can be custom made just never got around to it.
I’m just under 6 foot and 14 stone and it’s okay size wise.
If you have a dedicated, or bigger room to work a keg then I imagine one of the more static ones is even better.

I have the GT Omega Racing set up.
If you have space its brilliant. https://www.gtomega.co.uk/products/pro-simulator-c...

I've perfected going from fully open and playing, to unplugged, folded and behind the sofa quicker than my wife arriving home, parking and getting to the front door.

Thanks for the replies, firstly how easy hard is it to get into/out of as it looks like you have to climb in through the small gap in-between the wheel and armrests as opposed to other options where its like getting in and out of a normal car (if that makes sense). The one in Argos would allow easy access and allow use of his current chair.
Secondly, regarding wheels, can anyone tell me if there is much difference/performance between the logitech G923 and the G29 and if so is it worth the extra £100 (Curry's have them at £260 and £160 currently).
Cheers again for the advice from a non-tech-dad !!
I do see the attraction of the easy storage when not in use, impressive folded up.

Playseat Evolution Pro here. Think it was cheaper than the normal Evolution but they are more or less the same seat.
Did quite a bit of research, wanted something to last. The Challenge is probably more popular if limited on space. Pro can be folded, but only the back half of the seat and peddles are fixed (unless you undo the locking bolt). A lot of my friends with the Evolution have dedicated spaces and it stays out all the time.
Wheels - main thing to check is any long term reviews. The force feedback motors are the things that are known to fail. It was what steered me away from Fanatec originally to Logitech. At least if it fails it's not a £500 replacement.

I've got a playseat challenge too, he'll be happy with it I'm sure.
There is also a couple from next level racing, I think they are relatively new ?
GT Lite https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gt-lite/
F-GT Lite https://nextlevelracing.com/products/f-gt-lite/
The difference seems to be that the F model can give a single seater position. Doesn't appear to fold as well as the playseat though.
