I've seen a 2003 (first registered December 2003) C220 CDi automatic advertised at a car dealer. 100,000 miles with FSH for £2000.

I'm not sure what spec/model it is, but it seems to have wrinkle-free leather/pleather seats and alloys. Actually, I think it's an Avantgarde model, whatever that is.

I suspect this particular dealer might be expensive, but their cars look decently presented in the photos. The car's MOT history is quite clean (the odd corroded brake pipe and worn ball joint). Is it worth it if it's in nice condition?

Is this model and age of car (is it the W203 model?) prone to rust, or did they manage to avoid the rust problem? Is it galvanised?

Are there any other common problems, and is it likely to be an expensive car to run? I'd probably add 20,000 miles per year.

I phoned the dealer, and it turned out the car had sold this morning!
