Wireless earolugs for running
Discussion
Not for me! The girlfriend has started running and wants some wireless earphones/ buds for her birthday.
I know nothing about these so looking for anyone with experience of them, budget is ~£70
She uses a Samsung phone to play music and an app so they would need to be compatible with that. Preference is for buds I think to save any wires.

Not quite what you're asking, but take a look at Aftershokz Trekz titanium/air. They're bone conduction rather than in ear, so you can still hear what's going on around you, making them a lot safer IMO and under UK Athletics rules ok to use on races where earphones are banned.
I have BeatsX ear bud headphones which I rate very highly and easy to link to various phones. Sound quality is very good, and battery life is great.if I was in the market for a pair I would go with the bone conductor ones. The sound quality is excellent, and alot safer for running on the road and being aware of your surroundings.
Wnet through this last birthday for my wife:
Considered the Bose Soundsport Free. They were quite pricey and VERY large. Sure they're good but looked peculiar hanging out of ears.
Bought the Jabra Elite wireless ones. I found them brilliant. Very comfortable, good sound quality. Didn't fit my wife's ears though. Ended up returning them. Only allowed to return as one of the little ear buds split, so they marked as faulty.
Replaced with Jbuds Air Sports. Cheaper than above. Uses ear hook rather than in ear,so better fitting. 12 months later they apparently aren't holding up well reliability wise. Keep losing connection. This may, however, be due to my wife rather than the earphones.

I'm about 6 weeks into the couch to 5K and to help me hear the app and listen to music to get me through this awful experience, I bought these........

Have to say, very impressed so far...... only been using them a few weeks but so light you don't know they are there, they leave the ears free so you can hear traffic etc, music quality is ok considering what they are ! Tried on the bike but wind noise screws it unless it's at full blast and then it's distorted. Would certainly recommend for running though and not far off your budget !

All these bluetooth earbuds use basically the same engineering.Considered the Bose Soundsport Free. They were quite pricey and VERY large. Sure they're good but looked peculiar hanging out of ears.

They will cut off when moving around.
This can usually be minimized it you have your phone/player on the right hand side of your body - i assume the right earbud has the receiver, but don't know.

I’m not sure that’s the case, I use mine at work, connect to my phone, leave my phone in the office then move around the unit and maintain connection...... They will cut off when moving around.

Yes that is the case in the office or home, where the transmission is not having to go through your body.I can walk all round the flat using my ones no problem.
But out and about you will find the connect better in your right pocket rather than the left or back pocket.
I'd assume it's also related to the size of the antennae and power of the transmitter. Playing from my phone to my big Bose QC2's I can put the phone in any pocket or wander in to another room and have no issues at all. Playing from my watch to my Trekz Air's will sometimes drop out for a moment if I put my hand behind my back, but I used to use them with my phone in a bum bag with no problems.
