So, for a private individual, just under £518 a month for 500 miles. I have no idea how competitive that is, but it's out of my league.

I am sure it would be cool to have something pretty rare for 6-12 months, but I cant help thinking that isnt a great deal.

I thought I would check the prices here in the US and it seems that Ford isnt offering leasing on the Mach-e at the moment. Balloon payment thing is an option, but the way that it works here is that you need to be the registered owner to get the tax credits / incentives - so makes sense as you would be giving the savings to the leasing company otherwise!

Seems that rough payments seem to come out at around $600 a month with a $5k deposit and a balloon payment at the end - and for 10k miles too, so yeah, not seeing that deal as particularly good. However, if its worth it to have one of the first in the country, might be worth it.

Plus insurance, charging costs etc. Is there a dearer way to do 500 miles a month ?

How about a 420d? You can then pay for the fuel too.

Ouch !

Rough maths that's working out close to £600 a month for 36 months. Plus Insurance, fuel etc.

As an added bonus you get to be seen with a ridiculously daft looking car giving a lot of people a good laugh.

Really? I think it looks great personally. Apart from the Taycan, all the current e-cars are pretty freaking gopping!

For clarification, he was referring to the new 'shape' 4-series, not the Mach-E!

I think it looks good tbh and would love one to replace my Leaf40 in a little over a year, however the current lease deals are not good value at all, you're definitely paying a premium to have one of the first.

They know they can shift all they can build as tax write offs so they don't need to do any deals.

I doubt if they will lease a single one that way, but it could be a good move for a company, depending what their tax position is.

£540 a month for 12k miles on base spec.

Top spec First Edition rather pricey at £995 for the same terms.

£540/mo doesn't look too bad for 12k miles. I'm paying just under £500/mo on my E-Tron for 10k.

The car looks great but have you seen the door opening procedure and door handles - what were they thinking !!
The interior looks nice and overall quality is up there. Interesting tablet design with a dial sticking out of the bottom of the glass.

I'm still finding the price is a touch too high, given the specs and the brand.

... interesting.

I thought this was a direct competitor to the Polestar 2? How does it compare to that?

You are comparing a premium manufacturer car with a list price of £60k to a Ford with list price of £40k though.

The Mach-E AWD standard range model is the same price as a standard P2, about £47k. It has about 40 miles less range and is 2 seconds slower to 60mph. I know not everyone needs faster speed and acceleration but gives you an idea of the day-to-day performance.

Going for the extended range version puts the car at £57k, which is around the same price a Tesla M3 or Y Performance, but it’s not as quick.

The model in the first post is the AWD standard range version which starts at £47k, the extended range version is £57k.
So, not that much price difference between the Audi and the Ford.

You don't sound like you're selling them?
