Best 40 inch TV

I'm very out of the loop with the tech these days, and owing to chimney breast/alcoves (victorian house) I'm limited to 40 I think, which is a shame as there's many many more sets out there in 43, but not many in 40.

40" sets really are in very short supply aren't they.

I'm sure the Panasonic would be fine, although they don't seem to be as well regarded these days.

If there was anyway to squeeze in a 43 incher, this is apparently the one to go for in terms of picture, value and smart system
