Dual Mass Flywheel in my van - Yes or No?
Discussion
Odd one, but I can't for the life of me find out if my 2006 Fiat Ducato 2.0JTD has a DMF or not. The clutch is slipping under load in higher gears, so when the time comes, I want to be aware of just how much I'm going to need to spend! It is the last of the MK2 Ducato's.
Some sources seem to suggest it doesn't, but some seem to suggest it might. It is very frustrating!
Many thanks.
(Sorry if I have put this in the wrong section!)

Even after a good look at almost all the car parts websites around, I'm still none the wiser! I can't see any reference to a DMF in the 2.0 JTD. The same van with the 2.3 or 2.8 which were very different engines did have DMF's I think, but no luck with the 2.0...
The only real clue I've found is that all the parts on eBay for this van/engine combo are solid flywheels, even the used parts.

Final update - Definitely not a DMF in my van. Garage have confirmed this and quoted £390 to put a new clutch in, including parts and gearbox oil etc...
Bad and good I suppose! Going to hold out until the new year as the clutch slip hasn't gotten any worse in the past couple of months and only happens if you put a lot of load on it uphill in a high gear.

If that is both parts and labour that's a really good price for the work!Bad and good I suppose! Going to hold out until the new year as the clutch slip hasn't gotten any worse in the past couple of months and only happens if you put a lot of load on it uphill in a high gear.

If ever someone was tempting fate, this is it. Just imagine it lets go two days before Christmas, garage has closed, then the owner has to self-isolate...
For the price, get it done, relax.
I suppose you are right... For the price, get it done, relax.
Edit - just booked it in!
