Went to the south coast today.

Thumbs up from kids on the way into Lewes

"Nice car mister" from 6 year old by a school in Brighton

Mother grabbing her two toddlers when she saw/heard the Cerbera (at 10mph) with a look of terror on her face.

Two kids come running over...

"Is that a Porsche?!"
"No, it's a TVR."
"Is that one of those cars you build yourself...?" :)
"How fast is it?"

Burbling through Brighton and a Japanese tourist/student girl runs over to to the car as I'm stuck in traffic and her mate takes pictures of her :)

Thumbs up from a motorcyclist on the way back up the M23.

Same on the way back from Le Mans.
A group of us (6 Tivs), took the 'back way' home to Calais...drove through some really spectacular countryside, and some very small quaint towns and villages en route..
The response from the people in these towns, had to be seen to be believed!....some looked in horror at a parade of "Muscled V8 symphony" passed through,(the oldies thought the German tanks were back)... to others who dived into their pockets for camera phones!!
The picture of 20 young school kids walking 2 by 2 along the footpath as we passed was unforgettable, with shreiks of delight coming from most.....cant wait till next year now!

The Friday before Le Mans we had just arrived at the town itself in the cerb and, wilting in the midday heat, trying to follow the signs for Parking Blanche and taking numerous wrong turnings. We ended going down a side street into some housing estate, I asked someone for directions and ended up with an enormous crowd of French teenagers all round the car, with several of them frantically trying to draw maps for us, in the end several youths on mopeds gave us a full motorcycle escort right up to the main gate at Maison Blanche! We were made to feel like some kind of celebrities. Interestingly a lot of French people asked what make of car is it and was it English.

Best of all as someone has already commented here, going through some of the small French villages with their narrow echoing high streets you cant help grinning at the looks of absolute astonishment on the faces of some of the inhabitants. If you were riding a penny farthing, butt naked with a flashing light on your head down the street you would see less puzzled expressions

Have to agree Ted, we're still getting used to the attention the Cerb generates. Highlights from Le Mans included passing 20 Gendarmes at a peage checkpoint (and watching all 20 turnaround in unison as we blasted off into the distance ) and the respect from numerous french bikers.

Must say, I was deeply impressed: Cerb spent a week & 1200 miles post Le Mans (which we missed due to a wedding) in France, and got an excellent reception all round:
-Fuelled at a Citroen garage, and practically all staff wanted a look at the engine
-Immediately let out with a smile into solid traffic on several occasions
-Left Cerb in school car park for 3 days. No scratches, watched a 4X4 gingerly open doors so as not to hit Cerb
-Despite driving like an absolute plonker as we were late for the St Malo ferry back, was only flashed at once

and best of all

-In 36 deg Centigrade heat, with Engine running at 110 degrees indicated, Cerb never skipped a beat
