Cinnabar Orange

What's peoples thoughts on Cinnabar orange? A few years ago, I saw a V12 Vantage in it and thought it looked great, but it was a lovely sunny day.

Any ideas on how it comes across on the more regular cloudy grey days we usually have.

Nothing wrong with an orange Aston. After all, the 2011 Geneva show car (Virage) was Madagascar Orange. I saw that colour in the metal and it looked very attractive; admittedly that was in the Florida sunshine...
At least you will stand out from the crowd. There are currently almost 700 Astons for sale on PH, of which one is orange. If you like the colour, ignore what others think and just go for it (say I who used to own a Bahama Yellow Aston). It's your car...

I do like Cinnabar though I have found myself a few times on the configurator trying DBX & Vantage in it.

I like an orange car... yet to own one though. It's my wife's favourite colour, so maybe overage potential???

Lovely to see something different. Madagascar looks great; just not sure I am brave enough for it these days. Ditto that 'lime' green colour, whatever that is called.

Cinnabar was a colour I remembered seeing and thinking that if I get back into a Vantage one day (V12 this time) then that's the colour I would like. Since then, I fell in love with Volcano Red, but I still keep wondering about Cinnabar. I know it looks good on a bright day - just worried it may look a bit 'brown' on a dull day.

I love the Orange. However your comment here makes me think about the metallic brown Cortina I once had (not out of choice...)

Yes i remember this one lovely spec. PUMP you were very slow as it was for sale for well over a year!

First time it was for sale for over a year (2013-14) and it was overpriced and Works refused to do any kind of reasonable deal for my 2009 V8V in part-ex. I walked away (and got at least £5K more in part-ex for the V8 a year later when I bought my V8S). Second time it was for sale (maybe about another year later) it sold quite quickly.

I had a test drive in this one back in 2014 when it was for sale. Great car but I needed 4 seats at the time and stuck with the DBS. Lovely colour though and I would had certainly snapped it up as an alternative to my Mako Blue if it had been available at the time.
