Smart watch for kids

We had a small problem this week, where due to a mix up to at the school and a few other issues, little ET was left in the school playground by herself, all teachers kids etc... had gone home. It was pure chance that a teacher forgot something back in the classroom and saw Little ET and gave us a call. Kiddo was in tears and had no way of being able to contact us. The teacher got our number from godknows where and gave us a call.

So we thought about a smart watch with a calling function for the kiddo. Happy to pay for a sim etc.. does anyone have any recommendations? Little ET is 7 years old daughter.

Not saying we will definitely get it, just looking for ideas/recommendations.

To easy to get lost. Watch is strapped to her wrist. Also we aren’t keen on her being a phone zombie, she’s still too young. And whilst the watches I’ve seen have some games they seem to be more of a basic feature/no internet needed.
