APIs and car data from dealerships (Research)

[WHoSaidThis]

Keen to get hands-on car data for research.

I would grateful if anyone can advise the simplest way of potentially sourcing all used car sales data from most dealerships in the UK (BMW, Honda, Audi, Car giant etc)

date being, model, price, mileage, spec and whatever is listed on the specific advert for the car

Do you guys know any dealerships/companies that offer 'open APIs' to get hold of the data?

How you approach them? For example, if you were to contact BMW, who would you actually contact?

Many thanks in advance

I write APIs for a manufacturer, including used car stock data.

I would be amazed if any manufacturer made this data available to Joe Public as an open API. We are incredibly protective about who we grant access to, only shared with trusted partners.
