most robust Xbox controller

Who makes the most kid proof xbox 1 controllers? #3 sproggo seems to destroy them in about 6 months, mainly the sticks go, sometimes the triggers, all killed playing fifa. We went the buy cheap oftern route (PDP ones I think) but they are crap. Are the xbox elite cotrollers worth the money?

Microsoft have a great warranty system and will replace FOC if they break within 12 months.

This - our design lab controller trigger button died (hadn't made the link to Fifa but possible!) and MS are sending a replacement.
