Idle moment...

My leather key fob with Porsche badge is in danger of falling off my keyring. The leather loop is worn.

My 981 "key" looks like a little Porsche, you know the one.

So... thinking about some Xmas tat I might like, is there a Porsche keyring which is worth having or should I just bin the leather one with the badge and forget about a new one altogether?

In other words... what Porsche fob do you have (photos please) and why?

If it’s not an official Porsche one of course they won’t extend your warranty.

Seriously though; I gave up with key fobs a while ago as they’re just bulky and rattle when driving. Key is in pot, pocket or ignition so a keyring or fob is of no use.

I have one of these, except with a car manufacturer logo on it...

Same here my Porsche key fob just rattled like anything and that was over the noise of a 981 GT4. Just use the key on its own now.

A local shoe repair shop may be able to splice in a new piece of leather for you. I had a favourite belt repaired when the buckle wore through the leather.
