odd thing, Just rang tescos to get cover for a courtesy car whilst my T2S is in for a service and they want money.

Last time I had a tuscan courtesy car the cover was FOC.

this time there is a fee. Apparently because the T350c is a higher insurance group than the tuscan S. I did querey this and they checked their facts.

Seems odd, TVR power thought it was odd as well. any ideas?

Don't think it is a different 'insurance group' as such (all group 20 afaik)...

However DirectLine insurance is less on a Tuscan S than on a Tuscan (both Mk1). Go figure.

All I can think is that there have been fewer S's involved in accidents, so therefore "lower risk".
