We should be proud that we live in such a compassionate and liberal democracy were
wrong-doers are afforded mercy, lots of tax-payers money, a house and a new identity.

It's insane, hopefully she is baron enough to not breed any more and spread her evil seed further.

7 years, for killing them poor kids, fking disgrace.

There have been some unbelievably lenient sentences recently. Not for the first time do I find myself fantasising that if someone were to establish a crowdfunded hit service there are occasions where it may do very well indeed.

She hasn't been released 'early' simply because she was always going to serve half inside as long as she behaved.

Why is she getting a new identity? I can understand her being released halfway through the sentence as that's what happens in the majority of cases but I don't think she should get a new identity.

Obviously to protect her identity and her coming to the attention of others. Whether that is a good thing or not is an entirely different matter.

Doesnt answer the question though does it? Why is the taxpayer now on the hook to protect this person, or any person, for their life choices made when they are an adult?

Otherwise we'd have to spend more money locking up the people who assault her.

I live nearby and I can't say that I have any ill feelings towards her to be honest. Mick Philpott was a well-known scumbag for years and it is obvious that the fire was all his doing. He is a wife-beater who has previously spent time in prison for attempted murder and she was almost certainly strong-armed into it. She is another one of his victims as far as I'm concerned.

Mick should never be released.

Nobody could strongarm me into killing six children. You?

Why should she be held to a different standard?

Killing their children wasn't part of the plan though was it? Their plan was arson, which tragically turned into manslaughter.

Well when you put it like that.

I didn’t mean to kill anybody at 150 mph after having a drink so I guess we are all quits then your honor

I’ll take that as forgetting the crime committed.

She and he and his mate are monsters - those poor kids likely didn’t all succumb to smoke whilst asleep rather the worst types of death.

They stood on the pavement looking whilst neighbours ran into the fire to try to get the children out.
To think it was planned as arson to get money which then got out of control but rather than getting into the house and saving the kids these cowards and monsters stood on the road watching them die.

They are pigs scum monsters abusers sick twisted s and those poor kids had no chance.

I'm surprised the JK show didn't get taken off air following this incident.
