2018 vanquish s wheel problems

had car in for a service noticed the diamond cut missing explained to the service manager i wanted it sorting they have come back saying aston may not replace these under the warranty i bought the car for 200k ex demo 3 month old never had any wheels repaired ,where do i stand as Im fuming and requested new wheels whats your thoughts .only done 2k miles since i bought it

What’s the exact problem here - the wheels have been refurbed before you bought the car ?

Does it have the wrong wheels or were they just not fully finished? If it’s the former then I don’t see why you’d expect them to sort it, if the latter it’d depend on how noticeable it is (if it’s really noticeable then arguably you should have spotted at time of purchase/much earlier in ownership, if not noticeable is it really a problem?).

Any pictures to help? Are you saying the diamond finish has gone with corrosion or just gone flat?

Post a picture of the car and a close up of one of the offending wheels and you’ll get some decent feedback.

car is at jct awaiting a reply from aston ,looking at the wheels on the edges of the spokes you can see the base layer
