Headrest identification
Discussion
I'm having a bit of a clear out and despite my lengthy searches, I'm unable to identify this headrest. The part number starts with 25R which suggests possible VW or Vauxhall. Has anybody more advice?

Several part numbers on the base:

Oh, and be careful who's about if you search for 'see through head rest' which is what I was tentatively calling it, you may not get the search results you expect....

Those look more like approval numbers, look a bit too short for part numbers to me, and the E-numbers above them also suggest the same.
Good point. It's probably why various manufacturers have similar numbers (25R etc).Volvo is a good shout, I'll scour photos to see if any are a match.

I think they're too tall for the Metro ones. I'm thinking some sort of SeatECE R numbers are to do with European homologation for mass produced cars.
ECE is the body who issues the certification. The R number is the specific regulation it adheres to.
For example all mass produced cars sold in Europe must meet the requirements set out in ECE-R46 which is devices for indirect vision. (Side/door mirrors to most folk, although its also relevant for cameras on modern cars too that don't have mirrors and theyre frantically trying to update the regs). In America they have NAS as the equivalent, but theyre quite different set of rules.
