Brighton Speed Trials - September 10th 2005

This is the centenary year of the Brighton Speed Trials, an annual event held on Maderia Drive in Brighton on the Second weekend in September.
I, Michele (yes female!) not Jon, have been competing in the event for the last 4 years and have run the 1/4 mile in an MGF (Hm), BMW E46 M3 (Ok) and Porsche 993 C4 (great). In each case I have been very competitive against similar machinery.
I am a locally based driver and I am looking to enter something different again this year. As you will see each year has been a step up in performance and I would like nothing better than for this to be the same again this year. The 993 last year tipped in with mid 13 second runs and the quickest cars are running in the low 10's.
Here is where you all come in!
Is there anyone out there willing to 'lend' their car for the day in return for free entry, board and lodgings, commemorative programme, photo's and of course the opportunity to see their car running in this historic event?
The entry list is now full but I have my place booked and can change the car anytime up to the end of this month.
