Engine on my 2006 / 2007 MK5 Golf takes an age to warm up resulting in only a luke warm car in this cold weather. Is a new Thermostat the only answer as they appear to be an expensive fix. advice please.
Also is Revo stage 1 a worthwhile upgrade.

Which ever engine/gearbox configuration you have there is probably more then one thermostat. Get them all done while it is drained down.
