I'm trying to identify a Christmas song and its driving me crazy so i thought PH could help. Its one of the traditional ones that get played every year on DAB stations like Heart Xmas, its from the 70s/80s and sounds folky. I think they sing "we wish you a Merry Christmas" in it and say Mazel Tov near the end.

I know its not a lot to go on but I'm sure someone knows it and can put me out of my misery smile

Just use Shazam next time you hear it.

That's what I do whenever I hear a song come on the radio, or played somewhere, and I like it.

Could it be Feliz Navidad by Jose Felliciano?

Dammit! Seems vaguely familiar. I was thinking Greg Lake I believe in Father Christmas or John Lennon Happy Xmas( war is over) but it’s not them.

Any advances on lyrics?!

No more advances on lyrics but if it helps its either a duo or trio and one of them is a woman.

rolleyes No - far too early to be dealing with Christmas songs!

Give it three weeks..... and it might be appropriate to have a little bit of Greg Lake.... otherwise: BE-HAVE!!

Might be Peter, Paul and Mary’s version of "we wish you a merry Xmas" or the Weavers version more likely I think.
No mazel tov but a shalom.

Hookaduck is the winner! It’s the Weavers! Not sure where I got Mazel Tov from though.
