Got a little playlist on Spotify of Christmas tunes, but what are your favourites?

Few of mine would be:

Korn - Kidnap The Sandy Claws
Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas
Christopher Lee - The Little Drummer Boy
Run DMC - Christmas In Hollis

But, always looking for more to add to the playlist.

What you got?

Edit, can't believe I forgot Louis Armstrong - 'Zat you Santa Claus?

Not sure if it's strictly a Christmas song but... 'A Snowflake Fell (and it felt like a kiss)' by Glasvegas

And 'Tar Barrel in Dale' by The Unthanks tends to be the last song played on New Year's Eve

The Vandals (Skate Punk) did a Christmas album, "Oi to the World" is probably the pick of the bunch -

Just found a quote about the album saying "If you do happen to enjoy their ridiculously stupid jokes, Oi to the World is nearly as fun as anything else in their catalog, even though you might admit their fast, goofy, and essentially tuneless songs are beginning to wear a bit thin." which is probably accurate hehe

Greg Lake's is an all time classic, but in terms of lesser known ones... been done before and I probably said the same thing, but...

Smith and Burrows - 'As the Thames froze'

Low - 'Just Like Christmas'

And the Home Alone theme by John Williams always gets me in the festive spirit!

Couple of oldies:

Silent Night/7 O'clock news - Simon and Garfunkel (1966 - bit dated now?)

Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt. Timeless! (and Madonna did a pretty good version too)

For me it's Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses. The hipster in me says that I liked it before it became popular.

Spot on Mr Balfour. Spot on. One of the very few tunes they play in Tesco that doesn't make me grind my teeth.
The others being:
  • 2000 miles; The Pretenders
  • Run With The Fox; Chris Squire
  • Driving Home For Christmas; Chris Rea
  • Last Christmas; Wham!
Everything else makes me want to throw up into the frozen peas. Especially "Mistletoe and fking Wine" which I loathe with a passion. "Children singing Christian rhyme"? ps off!

Is "Don't stop the cavalry" by Jonah Lewie some sort of alternative version?
