It the Tuscan racing on at Brands on the 9/10th Ju
Discussion
The Dunlop Tuscan Challenge is being run as a separate class within the BARC/BRSCC Saloon and Sports Car series.
Qualifying is at 10.30am and the race is at 4pm (provisional times) on the Saturday. There is nothing on the Sunday for the Tuscans, although there is a full programme of other races.
I believe there will be 6 or 7 Tuscans and with a full grid of 30 cars on the Indy circuit - it should be an eventful race.
Unfortunately I am not able to race myself due to prior commitments.
Regards
Andy

The latest timetable is on the BRSCC website. The Tuscans are racing a little later now.

many thanks
The meeting is mainly a Mini event and the star race is "The World's Fastest Mini"

Carry on at this rate and we'll soon have pictures of a 'James beater' available.
?????
Brands Hatch on the 9/10 July is mainly a MINI meeting!
Check the BRSCC website!
OK James. I've had enough. As Mrs Hui says, Sunday is a mainly Mini event, Saturday is not. Mini's are great, but the original poster was asking about Tuscans. As far as I recall this forum is still about the Tuscans. There is also a general motorsport forum if you want to wax lyrical about Minis.
Some other points for you to muse over when you have a minute between selling people's business cards on Ebay:
1) How about posting under your real name. Or has Dave banned you entirely from this site?
2) Kindly give it a rest on the Tuscans. One minute you try to make out you are the series' best friend, the next you are constantly putting the boot in.
3) If you have something positive to say - say it. Otherwise refer to point 5)
4) If what you have to say is positive but irrelevant, refer to point 5)
5) P!ss off!!!

D'you know....it's July and I've only been to one race meet this year Thruxton.......and the Tuscans weren't there.......
Seems really strange not to have an action packed race calendar.
Still....sounds like interesting news on the Britcar front...........
Hope everyone is well out there........

The star driver and car combination will be Pete Edwards in his Mini Clubman. Pete can lap Brands quicker than any old TVR Tuscan!
As a final aside, the lap times from today tell a different story,James.
They certainly do! All 6 Tuscans qualified faster than your "star driver" James. Darren Dowling's pole time was 48.998 vs the 53.986 2nd on the grid of the Mini Clubman.

...No, I don't think so James!
