Towing and off-road

I'm currently thinking of replacing a couple of cars (one of which is an old P38 Range Rover, the other a small 2-year old everyday car) with one to do everything. I can probably manage with 2 tonnes towing ability rather than the 3 tonnes I currently have, but I do need occasional off-road use - not mountain-sides, but muddy fields, rough lanes and forestry tracks.
If I stay with ICE I will probably go for a used P494 RRS because I loved an old L320 RRS that I did 120,000 trouble-free miles in over 10 years, so I don't subscribe to the "inevitable unreliability" of JLR products nonsense.
Situation is that I am retired so no regular commute, in a rural area, no problems with off road parking. The vast majority of journeys are within a 25-30 mile radius. Occasionally I might want to do a 150-250 mile trip, sometimes (rarely) with a rally car on a trailer. Annual mileage for this vehicle will probably be under 10,000.
Is there a hybrid or full EV that I could consider as an alternative to the P494 ? Would a Disco/Velar PHEV do the job ?
