Converting VHS to digital.
Discussion
Hi,
I started this thread a while ago, as I have a small number of VHS home videos that I would like to transfer to digital, see the link below, hope it helps.
Still WIP for me; I have found a co-axial aerial to USB (August digital TV), now I just need to sort out the software side (I haven't had time recently to make any progress recently).
If you get any success. please update as I need to do a few before technology leaves this behind, to be honest the only reason I am keeping a few VHS recorders in the house is I need to do this, and don't fancy paying £30 a tape to transfer as most are only a few few mins. As soon as all are done, all recorders and tapes are going down the dump (mission to get rid of loads of old rubbish from the house).
I haven't even thought about editing yet; I just wanted to get them on a computer before they become unusable.
