Self assessment tax bill - payment plan

Just looking for a quick confirmation of my understanding of the Self Assessment Time To Pay facility.

I am due a large self assessment tax bill in Jan 2021 as I did not make the payment on account in July 2020.

Let's pretend that tax bill is £100k but I can only pay £70k.

Would I be able to pay the remaining £30k in instalments using the Time To Pay facility?

I suggest you phone HMRC and ask them - it all depends on your personal circumstances. The £30k limit alluded to in that link is only for you to be able to apply online.
