Hong Kong Phooey but the original Fred Quimby Tom and Jerry cartoons are top notch for a laugh.

Comic would be Whizzer and Chips.

I used to get the Dandy and Beano as a kid then when I got a bit older Eagle.

Reading Wizzed and chips and watching the Musker Hounds.

Also Robo Story, Vicky the Viking and original Danger Mouse...kids Tav was just better.
