Speed Cameras Not Real!
Discussion
Ha! So its finally been admitted! Heard on our local news today and that Suffolk Police have finally admitted to over half of their cameras being fake! Out of something like 15 cameras in the county, only 7 are functional at any one time. In Norfolk, only 5 cameras out of 18 are working at any one time, but out of the 96 in essex, they wudn't say how many worked, but both Suffolk and Essex police admitted to using dummy flashes to let ppl believe they had been caught.
They say, quite rightly, it doesnt give ppl the right to speed.
Your thoughts please...

I thought it was normal practice to put up a lot of boxes and then play a 'shell game' with a small number of cameras. Of course, we the motoring public are gradually paying for more of these cameras, and funding the development of cheaper units that can then be bought in even greater numbers. I think we're at the thin end of a rapidly accelerationg curve of camera deployment that will eventually see cameras covering every inch of tarmac in the country, and every driver vulnerable to the whim of the scamerati.
