Teaser trailer:
Do you think you'll have had to play the previous games to enjoy/get this one? I expect you may benefit from knowing the universe but I can't imagine it will dampen your enjoyment, based on how they handled this before.
RW
Fingers crossed it’ll be good. Mass Effect Andromeda wasn’t awful but was very flat and dull considering how intriguing the storyline is for the Shepherd trilogy.
Be interesting to see what route they take, it’s a huge universe with a lot of potential for both prequels and sequels. I think the First Contact war with the Turians or more into the Batarian conflicts could be an interesting path.

It's post ME3 ending, Liara is walking up a dead Reaper and you can see another one in the background.Be interesting to see what route they take, it’s a huge universe with a lot of potential for both prequels and sequels. Not gonna lie, at the liara reveal / smile I might have stepped aboard the hype train, despite blatantly knowing better than to do so.
It was a good trailer ... This is how it will pan out for me though ....New Mass Effect ! YES !!
Must play through remastered versions before ...
2029 .... New Mass Effect ! Must finish the remaster before the remaster of the remaster arrives ...
2036 .......

I hate to be one of those people, but I must admit to be amongst the haters for the ending of ME3. It just felt lazy. That said ME1 is my favourite Sci-Fi RPG by far and away, and although we're all suckers keep buying remakes, a remake of it is very exciting indeed.

I'm also firmly in the ME3 ending hate camp. It just felt like a massive let down after going through the 3 titles, carrying over progress from the previous title to effect the next for nothing. It's as if it was cobbled together just before release. Not to mention the erosion of some of the key RPG elements from ME1.
