Watch Dogs : Legion
Discussion
I'm surprised there's not a thread for this already.
Anyone else playing?
I was a big fan of WD1 and WD2 so waited until Legion came down in price to pick it up and I'm currently playing through it.
It's a strange one.
Graphics are really good. The detail and recreation of London is fantastic. I'm a dirty northerner but have spent a fair bit of time in London and often recognise little side streets throughout the game. There is a frame-rate drop when speeding through busy areas though (PS4 Pro).
The story isn't very engaging. I'm just ploughing through the side-quests and now I've unlocked all the zones of London, and have loads of upgrades so feel slightly overpowered. I think the idea of having multiple operatives is clever but unfortunately you lose the bond with a main character if you keep switching.
The voice acting is pretty embarrassing with dreadful accents.
Still good fun and it retains most of that tension when breaching in to areas with your character, drone, or spider.
Worth a look if you're a fan of the franchise if you can get it for ~£30.

Been working through it on and off since release - not mega far into it yet but its enjoyable - not as gripping as GTA but I think I forget how much of a grind that could be at the start too...
the multi operative concept is interesting and speaking to friends who have played it we have all had very different approaches to the same missions
