Trading in relatively low value watches

Afternoon everyone

I have a couple of watches - nothing amazing - but they are sat doing nothing. One was bought as an engagement present by the ex wife and the other was my wedding present. As such they will never be worn and are just sat in my bedside drawer doing nothing

The engagement watch is probably not worth anything much, but the wedding gift is a Citizen - probably a couple of hundred pounds when new

I think most of the big names would tend to be interested in higher end models but there must be somewhere I can dispose of these. Or is it just an ebay job?

I would suggest ebay, i've currently got a few on there that i dont wear.

Take several decent photos, write a decent description including any issues and let nature take its course.

I've sold a couple of watches on Gumtree but to be honest a £200 Citizen isn't going to be worth much.

Totally appreciate that. We were only married 14 months so it's hardly work so somebody may as well make use of it

I got a different one as my wedding gift from my second wife several years later for best and tend to wear my Garmin on a day to day basis

One of my auctions has just ended and I'm very happy with what it fetched so well worth doing!

Depends on the model.

A NY0040 for example is a desirable watch, although admittedly you would do well to get £100 for a used one.
