I don't wish to sound racist, but looking at the state of the car: "Selling due to moving abroad " shouts to me as: "Selling due to going back home to......" [Poland/Romania/Czech Republic - Insert as applicable]

That’s a thing of beauty and the only one like it to exist! Pleased to see that locking is listed as a feature! Given that paint job, I doubt you’d need to bother.

Who in their right mind will pay £17k for that?

I’m also struggling to understand what was going through their mind when they did that. It’s clearly a loved cat and won’t have had a hard life.

Wrecking a good car through a colour scheme is one thing, you could argue personal taste (I won't though). What gets me is the total lack of effort to actually present the car - filthy, crap everywhere, wires hanging all over the place. FFS, it's a £17k car. Make a bit of effort.

The advert states that the car is for sale in Thamesmead - Not Budapest, Warsaw, Riga, Bucharest, Budapest or wherever (And I didn't think for one minute that the pictures were taken in Thamesmead!)

Chances are, the photo's were taken in the seller's home Country, from when they were showing off their pride and joy to family and friends.

I've worked with quite a few Eastern Europeans in my time (I can only think of one that I didn't get along with, and that was due to his "'roid rage" issues, otherwise, the blokes were/are nice guys, and the girls were/are very attractive! - In fact, my best friend is Polish! ), and this BMW matches up pretty well with what many of them think is: "cool" - Hence my take on the "moving abroad" statement in the advert.

(Sadly, in the over sensitive World we live in today, you've only got to suggest that something might be foreign, or belong to someone from another Country, and all too often people become outraged, accusing you of being racist or xenophobic! )
