Worn pipe f type

I recently removed the engine cover to clean it and found this work pipe underneath. I don't think it's actually worn through yet but isn't far off. Can anyone tell me what it does please and what is called so that I can get a new one?

Try this site jaguar lakeridge its a Canadian jaguar dealer but there parts pages are excellent search by model , year , trim ,etc then access exploded parts diagram with part numbers double check on brit parts with vin number to make sure you have right part number.

Are you sure it's worn, that looks like it has been chewed, you don't have any mice in your garage do you, this time of year rodents are moving into warmer places to nest.

That’s just foam insulation around a plastic pipe. Easy but awkward to replace.

Thanks for the replies, I was beginning to think rodents myself. I'll take it for a run this week and leave it outside for a few days, hopefully that'll scare them off.
