I’m after a headrest for a drivers seat in a BMW F11. eBay has not come up with the goods despite looking for over a year!

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Cream leather, non electric headrest (think they’re sports seats).

Radical idea, but have you tried BMW?

I assume he means cheap/second hand. hehe

Have you tried contacting local breakers' yards? The F11 is old enough that I'd expect them to have a few.

Search for the 07, 10 and 11, as they're the same - gotta love overcomplex naming schemes. smile

Find out the part number and put a saved search in.

Look for "breaking" cars, and message the seller. I doubt there's many bothering to list just a headrest. Full interior or the seats, sure, but a £20 part out of dozens isn't worth the time in most cases.

OP, how much is a new one from BMW? I presume you've checked.

I’ve had success with the breaker search tools like parts gateway (there are a few of them). You put the car and part details in, plus your contact info, and it sends the request to dozens of breakers, who will contact you if they have what you need.
