Votes are mainly for drivers who have pretty much annihilated their team mates, McLaren get two drivers as Lando beat Carlos in the qually but it was the other way around for championship points.

If you want to argue for Bottas, Albon, Stroll, Ocon, Kvyat, Vettel, Raikkonen, Giovanazzi, Lafiti, Aitken or even Fitipaldi then by all means have your say!

Who is Russel?! Can't seem to vote but hard to look beyond Hamilton, shockingly consistent over a difficult year.

It has to be Hamilton, he’s reached a whole new level this year.

Lando has done brilliantly and is definitely one to watch.

Verstappen has matured a lot, and done really well, but he still isn’t as consistent as Lewis.

Sainz has wasn’t his place in the Ferrari next year, I just hope they can give him an at least semi competitive car.

LeClerc has lots of natural talent, but needs to stamp out the silly mistakes.

Perez has also had some great moments, but I don’t think we would be discussing him in this list if he wasn’t out of a seat next year.

For me it has to be Lewis. Just complete control over a season and hardly a mistake at all.

The same guy as Russell, just with an ignoramus spelling his name.

Lewis.

Max as a close second.

Russel third for a moment of brilliance.

Well it should be Lewis but he's won enough so I voted Gasly. He's really impressed me. Sainz was close.

I've gone for Perez as driver of the season, on the basis of his performance relative to the car he's in. Hamilton has driven impeccably but him winning the title was nothing more than what was expected for this season so he's hit the level he was expected to reach. Perez has even after a slow start to the season and missing 2 races has ended the season in 4th, won a race and had arguably the best season of his career. I'd say that exceeds the level most would've expected from him for this season.

Perez for me; to finish 4th in the rankings having missed races due to COVID takes some effort, let alone continuing to perform after you’ve been booted by the team.

Sainz, Gasly and Max equal second for consistence performance.

Norris, Kyvat and Leclerc for having some outstanding races here and there.

Honorable mention to Stroll for putting it on pole and getting 2 podiums.

In the first half of the season, from what I recall, Perez wasn’t that impressive (standing by to be called an idiot who doesn’t know anything and proven wrong). It wasn’t until they announced that Seb was replacing him that he really started to shine.

There has been many standout performances and drives this year, Covid, and the whole mix up that it gave us in 2020 was a gift for us in the end.

As much as he winds me up sometimes with his bizarre tastes and behaviours sometime, I cannot vote for anyone other than Lewis. He is exemplary, his performance and dedication to winning is unique, in my opinion, he doesnt waver. A not far off flawless, well, well deserved championship again.

Bottas. I can’t imagine how depressing it must be for him to put on his race suit week in week out. laugh

In similar vein, Russell - being an obviously exceptional driver in a car with absolutely no hope of getting in the points, chipping away week after week to prove yourself when it must feel like no ones watching. Then you get ‘the call’ and are let down by the team. The man deserves a trophy... let’s hope he gets his in time.

I can't see an option to vote, I can only see the results?

Hamilton is obviously the most consistent driver but giving driver of the year to him is a bit like giving man of the match to someone who scored a hat trick. The driver championship is reward enough. I would rather vote for someone who has consistently got the best out of his car, pulled off entertaining overtakes in the midfield and regularly got his teams' car punching well above its weight .
Gasly.

Hamilton has been the most consistent so the easy vote would be him.

but, Russell has shown that others share the skill and ability to be a race winner if they have the right kit last weekend.

My vote is for Pérez - he's performed really well, and i can't believe he doesn't have a seat for next year yet!

It was a tough choice but I've voted Leclerc.

I know Vettel didn't turn up but you only have to look at the other Ferrari teams to see how much engine performance Ferrari gave up for this season.

What has been really noticeable is the Red car appearing on the 3rd or even 2nd row with some regularity, and two podiums including a second place, when the car has generally been around 5th best.

Gasly (my vote) and Checo, Pushed it to the limit all year..

Hamilton is just simply a dominant force, and worth of the achievements and records he is breaking, its almost expected now that he wins..

Max/Bottas/Russell, phoned in too many races and did not push enough, made too many mistakes IMO.

Hulk did a phenomenal job jumping into the car at the last minute 3 times, the p3 quali was a highlight of the season.

Norris & Saintz, great job to take P3 in the constructors, relentless constancy, & swapping places in races to allow the faster car through without petulance to maximise WCC points.

CLC, the real deal here, if the Ferrari power unit is as its been bench tested for 2021, WDC contender, no flaws, dog of a car, decent points haul.

Honourable mention too for Kyvat, who will not have a drive next year, and possibly had his most consistent season.

Has to be Lewis, having sad that, it’s a pity that he makes it look so easy.

But immediately behind him, there is a lot of serious talent. Pity that it seems impossible to have more cars on the grid.
