I've got shortlist of cars which I am considering, and I've noticed that Sytner have decided to just blow their dealerships wide open and consider cars from all brands now?

They're basically becoming an Evans Halshaw or Arnold Clark.

Well Sytner have been heading that way for years!

I saw a job advertised at Guy Salmon Jaguar in Ascot, and applications were invited to Sytner! Same for Guy Salmon Land Rover.

Inchcape (aka Cooper BMW) are doing much the same.

They're still in the prestige market with their brand dealerships, but they now have their "Sytner select" franchise for everything else, and anything that retails for less than what one of their brand dealerships would have on their forecourt.

Makes sense really. No doubt they can make better money from retailing their PX's that don't suit a dealership forecourt themselves, than selling them off within the trade.

Sytner Select has been around for years, but I must admit I thought it was for selling part exchanges, not buying in to stock.

Isn't Car Shop part of Sytner too?
