Cars advertised for sale by slobs

How often do you come across a car for sale where the owner has left it filthy? I seem to be seeing more and more of these. Some I can't believe that people would drive around with the interior in that state:-

My brother needed a car for a ‘less than £500 round Europe charity thing’ some time ago.

Found a real beauty... a red, old Suzuki Swift with an ashtray worse than this:



A full weekend of cleaning and it wasn’t a bad little banger (except the stained headlining and smell)...

Chances are it’s not a polished turd. At the same time that level of laziness would make you wonder if they could be bothered with looking after the thing.

I doubt any buyer looking at that would even care, its a scrapper/breaker. Its not worth the time involved in replacing the manifold and turbo. Chancers are the guts of the turbo has been through the engine anyway..

Lazy ad as well , seller hasn't explained that you don't get the £100 desirable number plate , you get the one shown

on the loose plate thrown in the car .

Also the 2 highest bids on it are from users with zero feedback , what could possibly go wrong ?....

Err it is King's Lynn. When I lived up there the MOT tester always said my cars were the cleanest he MOT'd. One apparently was 20 mins with a screwdriver digging the mud etc. from under the pedals. MOTs up there were seemingly optional those days as well.
They've also replaced 3 tyres when the recommendation is all 4 at the same wear level.
