I hope he lives to see at least another point after this year’s result. Would be very sad if this turns out to be a case of nothing left to live for.
114 Race Victories 312 Podiums
9 Constructors world championships
7 Drivers world championships
Whatever happens - his legacy is phenomenal.

Yes I couldn’t agree more. What I meant was sometimes people seem to just shut down when the thing they live for ends.
Yes - I agree. But this year the teams ended with no points, has been sold and the seasons just literally ended. I’m lead to believe that after his wife Virginia passed in 2013 the F1 team was ‘all’ he had left in his mind. Let’s hope he pulls through and a new era can start for him. LaurasOtherHalf said:
The family asking for privacy never bodes well. Ginny's autobiography just turned up today as it happens after Saward recommended it on Twitter. I think I might start it tonight and raise a glass to his heath while doing so.
Good luck, I found it quite a tough read.. It's worth remembering that for the disabilities that Frank has, not only has he been bloody lucky to survive the initial accident, but it's practically unheard of for anyone to live as long as he has with what he has.
I hope he's alright, but I would say it's unusual for a statement like this to be made. It might be worth preparing for the worst in this instance I fear.

I only learnt this evening that it was Peter Windsor in the car with him at the time. Not surprised he’s so well respected in the paddock (not for the accident, but time served).n3il123 said:
