Well, this isn't one for good taste. This is for the dirty little secrets - like fancying the chubby girl at school, or really wanting to own an assault rifle.
The parameters, taken from a mini discussion on another thread, are this:
- it has to be a bit silly. So either solid precious metal, or tasteless enough to mean that steel doesn't matter.
- you have to genuinely, if you had the spare cash, have it in your collection. You would buy this watch.
- absolutely fine to keep it locked away and only ever wear it in the bath on your own, never admitting to another living soul that you own it.
I'll start with a Gold Yacht Master, But not just the one with the already tasteless onyx hour markers. No, I'd have let Bamford loose on it. This is an expensive, tasteless, horrible watch that I would not want anyone to know that I owned. But own it I would.

In my line of work the Casio Foxtrot 91 Whiskey has a legendary status. I considered myself superior as I had the £1 more expensive version fitted with a back light verses the tiny bulb in the peasants version.

I also remember at school in the 80s feeling a bit uncomfortabe when girls criticised other girls for looking slutty, I couldn’t quite bring myself to say - Err NO, they look AMAZING, infact I think I love them :-)

I have thought about a DD:

The flight master has that big thick case, in gold it would look pretty gold, like you’re wearing a dirty big gold nugget.
