I get the impression from 'behind the scenes' footage he's the consummate professional.

Not to mention he has balls of steel and does stunts like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afS5ks54tms&ab...

If what they have stated in the media is true then he is spot on.

Yep does all his own stunts.

Comes across as a really nice guy in all interviews and chat shows and is known to have the start of a premier delayed as he spends so much time chatting to waiting fans.

Still a bit wacko though as he is a Scientologist.

He's passionate about what he does, and those around him who enable him to do it.

Might sound over the top, but don't blame him for losing it.

Naughty to leak the audio.

Reminds me of when Christian Bale lost it on set and that got leaked right around the film's release.

Yeah the scientology lets him down.

I remember that, I think that was more of him just generally being the ahole, that he apparently is.

Yeah Bale was totally out of line and said as much after, so a bit different to here.

Good for him.

He’s absolutely right. Whatever you think of Covid, if the movie gets shut down, they could be all up st creek (other than Tom Cruise himself obviously). And it could all be down to one guy getting a positive test.

How many movie industry professionals who haven’t got work would kill for it right now? And some fkers might put hundreds(?) of people into shutdown and no pay situations because they can’t follow protocol?

Must admit he has always been very much hands on and if someone gets the set shut down, then I am not surprised either.

There was a quote from Graham Norton that guests on his show are introduced to *all* the crew beforehand, and when Cruise visits as a guest he remembers everybody's name and their respective jobs. Despite all the A-list stars they have on he is the one person who stands out as their favourite.

Yeah I fully agree with him. This isn't a Bale-esque diva rant.

Colleague spent a day with him looking at locations. Pair of them, in matey's 1 series, pootling around old warehouses.

Said Tom was a thoroughly nice bloke and very down to earth and seemed to enjoy his tour of post industrial northern Britain. .

What he said was right.

The way in which he said it, not so much.

Personally if I was on the receiving end I would take it on the chin, apologise and show genuine remorse for my slip/forgetfulness and lack of consideration.

However, in today's society where hurting someone's feelings seems to be the most heinous of crimes, I expect he'll be hung out to dry over it.

You’re probably right unfortunately.

I’m sure Cruise however will be devastated.

I'm sure shagging Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Katie Holmes goes someway towards helping smile

He is 100% correct...this guy is a perfectionist and passionate about his craft that is making movies for us to enjoy I wish there was more like him.

There must have been incidents before this happened and this was the last straw hence the flare-up, also I think Tom shoulders a lot of the responsibility for producing these movies...if so he's the boss.

Doesn't seem at all unreasonable to me. Getting a whole movie production shut down for the sake of a minor breach would be bloody stupid, whether you agree with the rules or not.
Looks like he's also the producer so it's his money on the line too.

Has he found his excrement yet ?

I suspect it's scientology thing, the keeping of waste products might be a part of the sacrament.

I bet I'm not far off.
