Password change request
Discussion
Just received 7 e-mails within the last minute to do with me requesting to change my password, they have come from adverts@pistonheads.com, I have been asked to either click on a reset link or email adverts@pistonheads.com if I haven't requested the password change.
Anyone know what this is about, I personally haven't requested a password change and I don't recognise the e-mail?

There are a myriad threads on this, the long and short is don’t worry about it.
The usual PH response is ‘forward them on to fraud@pistonheads.com’ where the squareroot of f
kall will happen.
Anyone can trigger the password reset email with just a username. Just click the ‘Forgotten your password?’ bit at the forum sign-in page and put whoever you like in.

You will have had lots of password update requests if you have updated your Apple iOS recently. It is identifying simple passwords that are not sufficiently secure.
Not so in mine and other participants in N, E and P cases. According to PH support it’s being done deliberately.16 received requests in a minute is my record , there’s a snowflake somewhere seriously upset with me and others.
