Minecraft: Windows 10 vs Java
Discussion
I've ended up purchasing Minecraft on multiple consoles/computers as its my sons favourite game, the bedrock version is good as you can cross play with PC/Switch/Xbox and PS. The Win 10 version is the most troublesome, a recent update broke compatability with various older Gpus and it was only recently fixed.
So you bought the Win 10 version from the Microsoft app store, it starts up and asks you to pay again? I haven't seen that issue, usually it won't let you download and install unless you logged in with the specific Microsoft account that purchased it. Can you post a screenshot of the issue?
Java version is a good option for mods but it doesn't run so great on AMD hardware and it's PC only so no cross play. My son prefers the bedrock version as he can play with his friends.

I've bought it and downloaded the app. But I'm stuck in a loop where the app loads and then asks me to purchase it. AARGH! Should I have bought the Java version (for a Windows PC)?
