New Member with New Car Range Rover Sport SDV8 (L494)
Discussion
Hi Guys new here but have browsed the forum for years as a lurker, thought I'd get my new car on here to keep a decent record of my ownership with it. (Picked it up Wednesday 16th Dec)
It's a 2016 Range Rover Sport with the 4.4 SDV8 Lump in it which comes in the Autobiography Dynamic package with all the bells and whistles I could personally wish for. Unfortunately the advertisement has been de-listed so I only have a handful of images that I grabbed until I take some myself on Sunday when the weather permits and I have given it a wash, along with a few extra interior shots.
This example is in Santorini Black, 0 Owners and only covered 10,000 miles with full LRSH. The main man at London Mayfair LR Branch was the previous driver hence low mileage as they often had access/commitments to driving other cars.
The exterior was paint corrected and detailed for collection and to my eye looked flawless, i'll see under some proper lighting, The interior is spotless, not a single scratch on the interior piano black / leather interior trim and flocked pillars and lining including carpets are spotless. You can tell this car has not been used for family activities which is perfect for me as I wont use it for that either. No sags or marks to the leather seats etc and its smells like a car out of the factory it really does. Credit to TMT who I bought it off who pride themselves on sourcing the best vehicles available.
A few of the headline items with this car:
Autobiography Dynamic with lots of extras and bells and whistles
Santorini Black Metallic Paint
22 Inch 5 Spoke Split Satin Black Alloys wrapped in Conti Cross Contact 275/40/22 (Inc Spare)
Stealth Pack
Grand Black Interior Finish
Morzine Headlining with electric Pano Powerblind
Touch Screen Digital TV with Dual View (Also Came with the original LR Headphones)
Meridian 1700W 22 Channel System. (It's bloody good but is a £4K option)
Privacy Glass
Adaptive Xenon Headlamps with LED Signature
Side Steps
Panaramic Roof
Four Zone Climate Control
Park Assist with Camera System
Heated Steering Wheel and Front / Rear Seats
So there it is!!
Not really any plans other than to meticulously look after it and keep it clean! More pics to follow Sunday as there is a break in the weather.

Wheels need repainting in silver pronto!
Otherwise a lovely car.
One of my tick boxes were the black rims, with black pack and full black interior. Just what I like the look of even if it has been overdone over the years for me the black on black nails the look I like. Otherwise a lovely car.
Number one item on the list in the past on my black/dark cars is powder coat the rims a darker colour 😂
I’m almost 30 when I hit that milestone maybe I’ll snap out of it 😂

Can we have some shots of it off-road please?
I live in the Peak District so it gets plenty of light off road duties, but dedicated off roading? Likely not, I’ll use my Defender TD5.Plenty of lovely backdrops will be forthcoming in the future though.

You have a stunning looking car there , No need to change the wheels , no need to show photos of it off road, its more than capable believe me. I have an L322 , its a love hate relationship but I would not consider selling it. And the car you have there is something different from all the mundane crap on the road, and you are actually going to be be paying the road tax for it to be on the roads.

Just needs B055 plate now!
Haha, yeah I'm not sure how I feel about the plate, it came on when I bought it. I can only assume the main man at LR that had it, managed to swipe the plate from the registration lists.I was going to put the Mr's plate on (in the background on one of the photos) but she wont drive it so little point. I was tempted to buy another plate to get rid of it, as I'm not a CEO and it's quite a contentious issue as I've recently been made associate director in the past 2 months ahead of others who felt more deserving having been there longer.
My fear is I go to the office in and people think I'm a right jumped up git on a power trip shoving it in their faces!
Just never really been bothered about private plates but find myself wanting to find something to replace it!
