Hi
MOT due on my '94 Chimaera and a wiper blade just shredded to ribbons. Could somebody please tell me which blades I need and where I can get them (online ordering preferably)? I'm in S.E. London.
Cheers,
Crouchy

Take one in to Halfords etc so you can get a visual match. And keep the receipt and open the package carefully in case you find it's the wrong fitting - though they seem to come with several adaptors.

Here's another wiper question then...
Just put on a new set of Bosch wiper blades and they don't wipe the screen properly. Seem to be unable to follow the profile of the screen, leaving areas untouched in the centre and particularly at the sides where there is a visible gap between the wiper and the screen. Any better brands?

I believe you need to bend them to shape, to fit the curve of the windscreen. I hae not done this yet myself, but I am sure I remember someone else mentioning this recently.

they were doing that on me old audi.
make sure the blade is perpendicular to the windscreen, if they drag this seems to be what causes the noise, so said chap at audi and he fixed it by bending them.
the wipers are sh1t anyhow - i'm afraid you may as well accept that now.....

RainX is the mutts nuts. Takes a good 5 minutes to apply, lasts about 4 to 6 weeks. The heavier it rains the better, and you do not need wipers over 40mph (most of the time ?).
Try it!
